Care Center Programs

• Emergency Housing- everyone coming to the Care Center enters the Emergency housing program; a 30 day program that allows for assessment and direction. Most residents are referred to one of the other programs before the end of the 30 days.

• Special Needs – designed to meet the needs of residents who come to the Care Center and are unable to function independently because of mental health or developmental problems. Residents are referred to agencies that provide housing and supportive care. They remain at the Care Center for up to six months until their needs are met.

• Working Guest – this program is for residents who have completed a long term program or show no signs of chemical addictions. This is a six month program that includes job readiness training and budgeting classes. Residents have 30 days to secure employment and then must save 90% of their income to build a solid financial base. Near the end of the program the Case Manager assist the client in securing clean, affordable and safe housing.

• Higher Ground – twelve month intensive residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program designed for women with a history of long term addictions. This is a five phase program that includes aftercare and follow-up.
