A Message of Hope

We all have times in our lives when we feel "hopeless."  But with time, prayer, healing and the support of family and friends, those times usually pass away.

It's different when you're hungry, homeless, or addicted to drugs or alcohol.  When you're living on the streets or being abused, hope is often non-existent.

For many people like James, Wheeler Mission is the last hope. 

At one time or another in his life, James has lost everything to drugs and drinking.  It took Wheeler Mission and a phone call from his 12-year-old daughter to turn his life around!

"She was doing badly at school, and she said, ‘Dad, you do bad, why can't I do bad?  You do good then you go back to doing bad again.

"'Why can't I?'  That hit home real hard.  That was God speaking through my daughter to tell me to look at what I'd done and where I was now!

"It's amazing to be able to grow and see how much God is doing for me in my life.  I would have lost my kids for good if it wasn't for this program and Wheeler Mission!"

This spring we want to make sure everyone who comes to us gets a Message of Hope...especially those who will learn about us for the first time.
